Cold drawn precision bars are one of Rettacciai’s Premium Stainless Steel product ranges. These bars, which feature a superior finish and a modified chemical composition, are manufactured using modern integrated production lines and state-of-the-art equipment. Ultrasonic testing and eddy current testing ensure the bars have no internal and surface flaws.
The purpose of this application is to ensure high machinability and low vibration on CNC machines, guaranteeing a smooth response to tool load compensation. This ensures longer durability and increased spindle speed.
The bars are finished using specially designed finishing machines, ensuring compliance with dimensional tolerances (including roundness and triangulation) as well as the required surface roughness.
Ultrasonic testing and inspection techniques applied at the production plants ensure that cold-rolled stainless steel precision bars have no internal or surface flaws.
